Braskem HDP0353 is a high density polyethylene copolymer (HDPE) developed for corrugated piping. Applications and suggested users include Industrial Standard Compliance ASTM D 3350 and Cell Classification PE 435620A.

SLL318 is a linear low density polyethylene, copolymer of butene-1, developed specifically for cast film extrusion applications. Films produced with this product exhibit excellent mechanical properties and enhanced sealability. With a minimum biobased carbon content of 87%, as determined by ASTM D6866, this grade aligns with sustainable practices. Additionally, it contains oxidant additives to further enhance its performance.

SLH218 is a LLDPE Hexene copolymer, expertly crafted by Braskem. This grade delivers an optimal balance of optical properties, mechanical properties (especially stretchability), sealability, and processability. It contains very low gel content, ensuring smooth processing. With a minimum biobased carbon content of 84%, determined according to ASTM D6866, SLH218 upholds sustainable practices while offering versatile performance in various applications.

PEXIDAN® J/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pregrafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (60:40), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® J/T is designed to meet SAE J1128 standards for GXL, TXL and SXL type insulation. PEXIDAN® J/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® HF SX407K pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX407K has been designed to be used in different nuclear power plant radiation resistance cables sheathing with LOCA approval. Different types of cable designs made using SX407 have complied with the following flame tests: - BS 4066 Part 1/IEC 332 Part 1; CEGB GDCD Standard 21; VDE 0472 Pt.804 Method C; VDE 0472 Pt.814; NF C 32- 070 Test 2 (Category C1); BS 4066 Part 3; IEC 332 Part 3 (Categories A, B & C).

PEXIDAN® V/T-2UV is a low density flame retardant XLPE system, curable by moisture and consists of a silane grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-083FR-UV. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T-2UV is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant. Insulation made with this system may be marked SUNRES or ‘SR’ in all colors and in all sizes per UL44, UL4703 and CSA C22.2 #38. This product is also CSA-listed for RW90, RWU90, RPV90 RPVU90 and CIC, ‘SR’ and -40C rated.

PEXIDAN® HF SX738 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. This system is designed specifically for the production, by extrusion, of flame retardant halogen free heat shrinkable tubing. The two component system SX738:CM401 combines ease of processing with the ability to achieve a degree of crosslinking compatible with good expansion and contraction.

PEXIDAN® HF SX612ES pre-grafted base is mixed with catalyst masterbatch CM602 or CM601, in an addition rate between 5% and 10%, depending on extrusion conditions. This system has ambient cure. PEXIDAN® HF SX612ES has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1 and EN 50525-3-41, with enhanced fire resistance to comply with fire testing on smaller cross sections.

PEXIDAN® X/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a flame retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-005FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (80:20), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. In order to prevent pre-scorching the grafted compound and the catalyst masterbatch must be stored separately and mixed only when used. PEXIDAN® X/T is halogenated but is RoHS compliant.

PEXIDAN® V/T-2 is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-045FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (50/50), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to hot water. PEXIDAN® V/T-2 is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® SX409NT pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. The SX409NT:CM401 system has been developed specifically for cables operating up to 36kV. The graft compound contains a non-staining stabilizer and an effective tree retarder, giving outstanding long term retention of dielectric strength. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

EXTINITY® 0101-107 is a halogenated, flame retardant compound specifically designed for use in plenum tube applications. This compound has good thermal and ultraviolet stability and can be converted easily on standard processing equipment.

PEXIDAN® X/T-UV is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-005FR-UV1. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions the two-component system results in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® X/T-UV is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant. UL44 type insulation may be marked SUNRES or SR in all colors for sizes of 6 AWG and larger. UL4703 photovoltaic insulation may be marked SUNRES in all sizes and colors

PEXIDAN® SX523 pre-grafted black base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497 in the ratio 95:5. This system is carbon loaded, with high UV stabilization, and has been developed especially for usage on overhead power cables insulation according NFC 33-209, “Câble Torsadé”. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

PEXIDAN® SX546 pre-grafted base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493CD, for small cross sections, or CM497CD, in the ratio 95:5, for a 125ºC working temperature system. This system has ambient cure.

THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT is a natural, UV resistant, Lead-free, RoHS compliant, Thermoplastic CPE compound. It is designed for use in a wide variety of jacketing applications including wire and cable and tube bundles. This compound has superior fire performance; including slow flame propagation, and self-extinguishing characteristics. THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT should be extruded with a screw configuration designed to optimize process conditions and throughput. This extrusion compound meets, or exceeds, several industry jacketing specifications, including UL 1277 tray cable. THERMODAN® CP 0110-108 NT has been designed to be optionally cross-linked by e-beam irradiation in order to further toughen the material and provide for a thermoset CPE compound. It is designed for use in a wide variety of jacketing applications including wire and cable and tube bundles. This compound has superior fire performance including slow flame propagation and self-extinguishing characteristics. THERMODAN® CP 0110-110 BK should be extruded with a screw configuration designed to optimize process conditions and throughput. This extrusion compound meets or exceeds several industry jacketing specifications including UL 1277 tray cable.

PEXIDAN® SX409 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. The SX409:CM401 compound has been developed specifically for cables operating up to 36kV. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

PEXIDAN® SX522A pre-grafted base is mixed with crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM401 in the ratio 95:5. This system has ambient cure.

PEXIDAN® HF SX524 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 or CM424/1, in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX524 has been developed specially for particularly optical fiber ADSS (all dielectric self-supporting) communication cables to be installed on overhead power distribution networks. The material is black in color and suitable for outdoor use with excellent tracking and UV resistance.

PEXIDAN® HF SX623 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM540U/1 in the ratio 95:5 or CM540U in the ratio 97:3. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX623 has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-360 SHF2, BS 7655-2.6 SW4 and EN 50264 sheathing applications.

PEXIDAN® U/T is a low density XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-008. When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95/5), the two components result in a material curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. In order to prevent pre-scorching the grafted compound and the catalyst masterbatch must be stored separately and mixed only when used. PEXIDAN® U/T is RoHS-compliant. PEXIDAN® U/T is also suitable for medium voltage XLPE jacket applications not requiring flame retardancy.

PEXIDAN® HF SX612S pre-grafted base is mixed with catalyst masterbatch CM602 or CM601, in an addition rate between 5% and 10%, depending on extrusion conditions. This system has ambient cure. PEXIDAN® HF SX612S has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1 and EN 50525-3-41.

PEXIDAN® HF SX622 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM540U/1 in the ratio 95:5 or CM540U in the ratio 97:3. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX622 has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-360 SHF2 sheathing.

PEXIDAN® HF SX559 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM540U in a ratio of 97:3 to 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only. PEXIDAN® HF SX559 has been designed to meet the requirements of IEC 60092-351 HF90, EN 50363-5, EI5 type, EN 50525-1, EN 50525-3-41 or other insulation or sheathing applications where high fire retardancy is required. Good CPR performance.
