Flyprene SIS 1209 is a clear, linear triblock copolymer based on styrene and isoprene, with a polystyrene content of 29% (wt.%). It is used as an ingredient in formulating adhesives, sealants, and coatings. This product can also be used as a modifier for bitumen and polymers.

Flyprene SIS 1126 is a clear, linear triblock copolymer based on styrene and isoprene. It has a polystyrene and diblock content of 16% and 50% (wt.%) respectively. Esschem MMA - Styrene Bead Copolymers are a versatile range of copolymers combining methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene. These bead copolymers offer a wide array of properties and applications. With increased MMA content, the resulting materials exhibit remarkable strength and transparency. Conversely, a higher proportion of styrene enhances hydrophobicity, hardness, and impact resistance. The molecular weight plays a crucial role in determining the characteristics of the copolymers. Higher molecular weights, often associated with increased styrene content, yield stronger and more heat-resistant materials. Esschem's ability to manipulate the molecular weight distribution allows for customized properties such as durability, elasticity, and processing ease. Additionally, the particle size of the copolymers influences surface properties and rigidity.

Hot polymerized SBR 1012C elastomer is particularly useful as a binder for fibrous materials. It imparts increased cohesive strength when added to an adhesive mixture.

Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ H1221 is specially designed as a modifier to increase flexibility of polypropylene (PP). Its excellent compatibility makes H1221 ultra-finely dispersed into PP. PP and H1221 blends provide transparent PP sheets and films with excellent flexibility and resistance to hazing or whitening on bending. The excellent adhesion is suitable for the use of adhesive layer of protective films with hot-melt and pressure sensitive characteristics. H1221 meets USP Class Ⅵ standards. It may be used for medical applications after a special agreement with Asahi Kasei.

G&E Blended PMSB is made from brominated isobutylene paramethylstyrene feedstocks selected for mooney, bromine and paramethylstyrene content to achieve a uniformly-blended polymer. G&E Blended PMSB is excellent for cost reductions in applications such as innerliners, non-cured tapes, construction adhesives and caulks. G&E Blended PMSB can be used as a direct partial replacement of prime butyl and halogenated butyl rubber.

Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ H1052 shows moderate adhesion and is good for adhesive layer of protective films by multi-layer extruding process or easy peel films. It is also used as an impact modifier of polypropylene (PP). Its excellent stretch property provides stretch films such as food wrapping film.

Hot polymerized SBR 1011AC elastomer is recommended for adhesive and pressure sensitive tape and label applications, and in mechanical rubber goods where non-staining and high tack is essential.

Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ H1041 is good for easy peel film application. It can be also used as a modifier for a variety of plastics with its superior balance of mechanical property and melt flowability.

Hot polymerized SBR 1009 is recommended for use in calendared products such as slab soling for footwear, and in extruded mechanical goods where smoothness and controlled shrinkage are critical requirements. It is also widely used in sealants and adhesives.

Hot polymerized SBR 1013 elastomer is used in adhesives, tire liners, and mechanical rubber goods, including auto mounts and household products.

Hot polymerized SBR 4503C is used in construction mastics, adhesives and sealants intended for installing panels, furring strips, wood molding, plywood or hardboard. It offers a strong and instant bond that retains precise placement. It exhibits excellent shear strength and yields a stiffer film when used in tape, PSA or label application.

Hot polymerized SBR 1011AE elastomer is recommended for adhesives, pressure sensitive tape and label, and mechanical rubber goods applications where nonstaining and high tack is essential.

Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ H1521 is particularly designed as a modifier to increase flexibility of polypropylene (PP). Its excellent compatibility makes H1521 super-finely dispersed into PP. PP and H1521 blends provides transparent and flexible extruded products such as sheets, films and tubes. The blends are also applicable to injection molding due to its high MFR. It has excellent adhesion, which is suitable for the use of adhesive layer of protective films with hot-melt and pressure sensitive characteristics. H1521 meets USP Class Ⅵ standards. It may be used for medical applications after a special agreement with Asahi Kasei.

ATECH® 3400 is a series of sheets based on ABS which is a raw material with very high impact-strength. ABS also has impressive thermal qualities and is easy to thermoform and fabricate. The ATECH 3400 is a super high impact ABS with a matt colored PMMA top layer.

Hot polymerized SBR 1009C is recommended for use in calendared products and extruded mechanical goods. It is also widely used in sealants and adhesives.

Emulprene 1011AH is a hot emulsion styrene-butadiene copolymer using rosin acid as emulsifier and coagulated with salt- acid. It is very light color product stabilized with a non-staining antioxidant.

Tufprene™ A SBS is the basic grade in the broad range of styrene-butadiene block copolymers from Asahi Kasei. A styrenic thermoplastic elastomer with superior elasticity, styrenic resins compatibility, moldability, adhesive performance, and asphalt blend characteristics. It is supplied in pellet form.

Asahi Kasei Tuftec™ P5051 is a selectively hydrogenated polymer. It is used as a compatibilizer of PS and PP blends or as an impact modifier of GPPS, HIPS and PPE.
