Ecoflex® FS Blend C2200 is a polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT) belonging to the polyester chemical family. As a resin in plastic technology, it finds application in the printing and packaging industry, specifically in food and beverage packaging. Ecoflex® F Blend C1200 is a polybutylene adipate terephthalate (PBAT) resin belonging to the polyester chemical family. Specifically designed for use in plastics, this product is in pellet form, providing a solid foundation for various applications. It finds its primary application in printing and packaging, particularly in the food and beverage packaging industry. With a focus on enhancing sustainability, Ecoflex® F Blend C1200 contributes to the development of eco-friendly solutions in the plastics and elastomers sector.

Forzeas™ DA9003 is certified as OK compost HOME. It is a soft polyester with excellent properties suitable for blown, cast film, and profile extrusion and is suitable for food contact applications. Features include good processability in existing LDPE machines, suitability as a sealant layer for flexible packaging, softness similar to LDPE, and suitability for blown film applications such as bags. Application examples include shopping bags, compost bags, sealant layers, and zippers.

Forzeas™ DF9006 is certified as OK compost HOME and is a soft polyester with excellent properties suitable for blown and cast films. It is also suitable for food contact applications. Features include good processability in existing LDPE machines and suitability as a sealant layer for flexible packaging as well as for blown film applications such as bags.

Forceas™ DA9013 is certified as OK compost HOME. It is a soft polyester with excellent properties, suitable for both blown and cast film. Forceas™ DA9013 is also suitable for food-contact applications. Features include good processability in existing LDPE machines and suitability as a sealant layer for flexible packaging as well as for blown film applications such as bags.

BioPBS™ FZ78TM is a bio-based polybutylene succinate (PBS) produced through the polymerization of bio-based succinic acid and 1,4-butanediol. BioPBS™ is a semi-crystalline polyester that offers a combination of softness, flexibility, and favorable properties for fiber applications. With its bio-based nature, this product stands out in terms of biodegradability and compostability, providing a drop-in solution to achieve a better sustainability goal.

PBST SA916N is designed to be used as a raw material for compostable compounds, especially for film applications. The use of the product as the main raw material for the resin composition allows the product to achieve a high degree of bio-based carbon content as well as high tear and puncture strength. PBST SA916N is for non-food contact applications.

Ertalyte® Sterra™ PET is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline grade that is produced from proprietary resin grades made by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials. Characterized by its excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to moderately acidic solutions, this grade is capable of sustaining high loads and retains more of its original strength up to 180°F (85°C) than nylons or acetals. Due to these characteristics, Ertalyte® Sterra™ PET components are a favored solution for bearing and structural applications throughout the pharmaceutical, food processing and packaging, and oil and gas industries. As part of the Sterra™ product portfolio, this material contains recycled content and exhibits a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to similar materials derived from non-recycled feedstocks.

BioPBS™ FZ79AC is a bio-based polybutylene succinate (PBS) produced through the polymerization of bio-based succinic acid and 1,4-butanediol. Similar to LDPE, BioPBS™ is a soft and flexible semi-crystalline polyester that possesses excellent properties, making it well-suited for cast extrusion and extrusion coating applications such as compostable paper cups. Due to its bio-based composition, this product excels in terms of biodegradability and compostability, offering a convenient solution to enhance sustainability goals.

BioPBS™ BO-FD92PM/PB is produced through a biaxially oriented process using BioPBS™ FD92PM. FD92PM is a bio-based polybutylene succinate adipate (PBSA) created by polymerizing bio-based succinic acid, 1,4-butanediol, and adipic acid. This product is primarily derived from renewable resources, making it highly biodegradable and compostable. It serves as a drop-in solution, enabling the attainment of improved sustainability objectives.

LNP THERMOCOMP WX15003 compound is based on Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) resin containing 45 % glass fiber/mineral. Added features of this grade include: UV stabilized.

Added features of this grade include: Impact Modified, Good Metal Bonding Strength and Good Chemical Resistance suitable for Nano-Molding Technology (NMT) applications. SABIC's Specialties Business LNP THERMOTUF WF008NA compound is based on Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) resin containing 40% glass fiber. Added features of this grade include: High Modulus, Impact Modified, Good Metal Bonding Strength and Good Chemical Resistance suitable for Nano-Molding Technology (NMT) applications and Good Color Stability during anodizing process. SABIC's Specialties Business LNP ELCRIN WF0061iQ compound is based on Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin utilizing ELCRIN iQ upcycling technology containing minimum 25% Post-Consumer Recycling (PCR) weight content and 30% glass fiber. Added features of this grade include: Non-Chlorinated, Non-Brominated Flame Retardant, UL94V0 and 5VA Flame Rating, Excellent Chemical Resistance. This is a good candidate for a variety of applications needing a more sustainable FR and PBT solution.
