Crys-Talc® 4H-4HC is a high-purity, high-brightness, platy, medium-sized talc used in interior and exterior coating, adhesive, and sealant formulations to reduce hard settling, improve sag resistance, and maximize prime pigment extension. Crys-Talc® 4H is used in solid-color and semitransparent wood stains to prevent tannin bleed and improve gloss uniformity without introducing abrasive characteristics. Crys-Talc® 4H has a platy, hydrophobic structure used in  architectural and industrial primers to improve barrier properties which impart corrosion resistance and stain blocking  ability.

Nicron® 303 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc with more than 98% talc content. The lamellar nature of Nicron 303 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers and topcoats to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability.

Silverline 403 is an off-white, high-purity, platy, fine talc. It enhances film strength and flexibility, provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers, and improves corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Silverline 403 is used in paints to improve low-shear viscosity and maximize prime pigment extension.

Nicron® 353 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. Minex® ST 4 A100-10 is a functional filler that is produced from nepheline syenite, a naturally occurring, silica-deficient sodium-potassium alumina silicate. Automated scanning electron microscopy confirms that Minex® ST grades contain less than one-tenth of one percent crystalline silica. No free crystalline silica is detectable in the mineral complex. All Minex® ST grades are processed and sized with rigid adherence to Covia’s QIPSM quality assurance programs.

Belonging to the NP-series, it has a very high hardness, so it is often used as a filler for increasing resin hardness. The high refractiveness of these grades offers good transparency when added to resins and films. It is also used for anti-blocking in film applications. The NP-series has excellent heat resistance and is very dimensionally stable at various temperature ranges.

This product is specially engineered for paints, liquid and powder coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These micronized powders increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including abrasion, mar and scratch resistance. Sunspacers™ 04.X have a median particle size of approximately 3-4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 13 microns.

Polyplate® HMT is a high brightness, very high aspect ratio, delaminated kaolin, intended for use in water-borne coatings, adhesives, and sealants.
