ECO Tween™ 60 MBAL is a 100% bio-based ethoxylated sorbitan ester derived from a natural fatty acid (palmitic acid). This ethoxylate is highly efficient in creating oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions, especially when combined with its non-ethoxylated form, Span 60. ECO Tween 60 finds application in various fields, including hard surface cleaning, industrial and institutional cleaning, and waxes and polishes.

Mosselman Sorbitan Trioleate 20 EO (9005-70-3) are obtained by the ethoxylation of sorbitan esters. They are more hydrophylic than the sorbitan esters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitan esters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. Ethoxylated sorbitan esters finds applications in cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, textile fibers etc.

ECO Tween™ 28 is a 100% bio-based ethoxylated sorbitan ester derived from natural lauric acid. It is manufactured using the RSPO's Mass Balance System, ensuring sustainable production. This ethoxylate is exceptionally effective in forming O/W emulsions across a wide range of applications. It functions as both an emulsifier and solubilizer.

Span™ 85 is a biodegradable surfactant derived from a natural fatty acid (oleic acid) and the sugar alcohol sorbitol. It is manufactured through the RSPO's Mass Balance System. This sorbitan ester is known for its high effectiveness in forming oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions, especially when used in conjunction with its polyethoxylated derivative, Tween 80.

The ALKEST® SP line is made up of sorbitan esters derived from the reaction of sorbitol with fatty acids. Products from the ALKEST® SP line are lipophilic, having low HLB values. The lipophilic nature makes these products soluble or dispersible in oil, favoring their use in water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions and as low HLB emulsifiers used in combination with high HLB emulsifiers in oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions. ALKEST® SP 60 and ALKEST® SP 80, when used in combination with ALKEST® TW 60 or 80, are excellent emulsifiers for beeswax, paraffin, carnauba and their mixtures, promoting stability and homogeneity of formulations. To prepare cosmetic creams and lotions, the selection of fatty acids and degrees of ethoxylation allow many combinations between the ALKEST® SP and ALKEST® TW products to obtain the right balance of emulsifiers for optimum performance and stability.
