Evopreg® ampliTex™ – Carbon Hybrids can be combined with traditional carbon fiber-epoxy prepregs to produce a high performance hybrid offering the benefits of both materials. By replacing carbon bulking plies with flax, it is possible to produce a “thin sandwich” structure that retains the bending stiffness of an all-carbon laminate, whilst also delivering the weight reduction, vibration damping and reduced environmental impact that flax offers.

Basaltex NV Basaltex BAS1101 is an impregnated basalt fabric designed as fire barrier in composites for public transport, aerospace, maritime, automotive as well as building and construction. Basalt fibers are extruded from 100% basalt volcanic rocks. They are characterized by outstanding mechanical properties combined with unique heat resistance. Basalt fibers are inert at high temperatures, will not soften like glass fibers, and retain their structure as barrier in a fire.

HexPly® F593 is a modified 350°F (177°C) curing epoxy system with very low flow for carbon fabric and tape applications that provides excellent laminate and honeycomb sandwich properties. As a low flow resin, HexPly® F593 lends itself to net resin, zero bleed applications. HexPly® F593’s low flow minimizes sandwich part porosity.

HexPly® M77 is a fast curing hotmelt, thermosetting epoxy resin matrix, specifically designed for prepreg applications at which short cure cycles are required. M77 is recommended for curing at 120 – 150°C and is suitable for a range of pressures (5 – 35bar). M77 can be used for manufacture of large industrial components, suitable for cure of thin and thick sections.

PREGNIT TP-PP is resistant to non-oxidizing Acids and alkalis.

CPP-3K is Plain weave carbon fiber prepreg 3K. The intermediate material of a composite material, which is made of carbon fiber yarn, resin matrix, release paper and other materials through coating, hot pressing, cooling, laminating, coiling and other processes, also known as carbon fiber prepreg. Products are widely used in fishing tackle, sports equipment, pressure vessels, sporting goods, aerospace and other fields, and are also important military products.

Natex P-Preg PLA UD 800 is a powder-coated fabric woven from flax fibers that are pre-impregnated with thermoplastic resins. It comes as NATTEX® P-Preg, PolyLactic Acid with 1000 mm Width and pre-preg fabrics uni-directional in natural fibers with flax of 750 g/m2.

Unidirectional CARBON FIBER PRE-PREG TAPE may be stored at 72°F for 30 days and for maximum shelf life, store in a freezer and bring up to room temperature for fabrication.

Toray Toray AmberTool® HXR56 New is a low temperature curing epoxy composite tooling prepreg, fully impregnated into a carbon multiaxial backing ply construction. This two-layer product facilitates 3-D construction while allowing efficient lay-up, reducing overall tooling costs. HXR56 prepreg is co-compatible with our heritage AmberTool® HX56 carbon 205gsm 2x2 twill reinforcement surface ply. After a suitable post cure, an end use temperature of 180°C (356°F) is achieved. 40–55°C (104–131°F) Low Temperature Curing Epoxy Tooling Prepreg.

HS Carbon Fiber UD250H60 is a E3 Matrix System with a precursor as PAN.

APCM DA 4518 E-Glass is a modified epoxy system coated on heavy weight unidirectional E-Glass fibers. This product is designed to build excellent unidirectional strength using a minimum number of plies. DA 4518/E-Glass Uni also features extended room temperature out time and service temperatures to 300°F.

HexPly 1458 is a self-extinguishing and self-adhesive modified epoxy resin system for monolithic and sandwich structures. HexPly 1458 has excellent temperature and moisture resistance. It has a versatile cure cycle at 160°C to 180°C and it has an excellent shelf life at room temperature. HexPly 1458 prepregs are only available in fabric form.

HexPly® 954-3 is a 350ºF (177ºC) curing cyanate resin with excellent resistance to moisture absorption, outgassing and microcracking. HexPly® 954-3 is formulated for autoclave or press molding using a standard cure of two hours at 350ºF (177ºC). Glass transition temperature can be maximized by post curing at 450ºF (232ºC). The recommended lay-up procedure is HSP-L3. The recommended cure procedure is HSP-C1 or HSP-C2.

TS7 is a B-staged silicone prepreg based on a medium weave glass fabric suitable for the manufacture of tubes and laminates.

HexPly® F655™ is a bismaleimide resin that cures via an addition reaction in a toughened two-phase thermoset matrix with no condensation by-products. HexPly® F655™ is a controlled flow polyimide resin system designed for alternative processing capabilities such as co-curing over honeycomb core, compression molding, as well as standard autoclave processing.

HexPly® M10E is an epoxy resin system preimpregnated into aramid, glass or graphite multiaxial fabrics and unidirectional fibers. HexPly® M10E prepregs are recommended for the production of low cost, large thicksectioned industrial structures.

AtenPly CPPS35 are thin sheets of continuous reinforcement fibers impregnated with thermoplastic resin. It is made direct from the fiber roving and thermoplastic melt using proprietary technology developed by Jonam Composites Ltd. This cost-effective efficient process produces light weight, high-strength ,well impregnated, smooth tape with unidirectional fiber reinforcement.

PREGNIT TP-PA12 has high strength, rigidity and toughness.

GMS Composites EP-282 is a formulated epoxy resin matrix prepreg with long shelf life. The product has a versatile curing cycle from as low as 80°C or as high as 150°C, thus enabling the product to be used to produce a wide range of composite items, from large structures to numerous small components. EP-282 is a resin film available on a lightweight scrim or without a scrim. The EP-282 resin is compatible with GMS Composites pre-pregs. The resin film has good flow and the tack of EP-282 can be varied.

Shanghai Sunwise Chemical MTC510FRB is a flame retardant epoxy resin system designed to cure between 80°C and 120°C allowing flexibility in component manufacture. Park’s E-770 is a 350°F (176°C) curing, flame resistant modified epoxy system for 200°F (93°C) service and meets the requirements of Mil R-9300-B, Type I. It has excellent green strength developing properties quickly and doesn’t need a post cure to maintain its 200°F (93°C) properties.

HexPly® M21 was developed as a controlled flow system to operate in environments up at 121°C (250°F).

Shanghai Sunwise Chemical OPS75 material is designed to give a high class finish with reduced pre-paint preparation and versatile out of autoclave curing. It can be supplied with carbon or glass fabric reinforcement. This resin system color is black. The standard system comprises of 1 layer of OPS75 surface ply and 1 layer of PSB75 bulk ply.

HexPly® M81 is a high performance tough epoxy matrix for use in industrial applications requiring good impact resistance and damage tolerance, such as the automotive industry. Shanghai Sunwise Chemical VTC212 (DF212) is a toughened epoxy prepreg system designed for out of autoclave cure allowing flexibility in component manufacture. This resin system color is gray.
