Coatings based on Liopur 2004-151 form tack-free, transparent films with good surface
hardness after air drying. Coatings based on Liopur 2004-151 have high ductility and tear
strength.
LIOPUR 2004-151 is used in combination with water-emulsifiable polyisocyanates, Liopur 2004-151 can be used for airdrying
water-based two-pack parquet floor varnishes, because of its high abrasion resistance
and for 1C and 2C wood coatings because of its good chemical resistance.
Liopur 2004-151 contains isocyanate-reactive groups, and consequently our application tests
have shown that a binder/curing agent ratio of 100:10 can be recommended.
Two-pack systems based on Liopur 2004-151 and water-miscible polyisocyanate are
characterized by the fact that the curing component can simply be manually incorporated into
the base paint, so that they are suitable for DIY applications. Based on our guide formulations
they have a pot life of more than 5 hours with no appreciable change in viscosity.
