Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-2107 is an aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion with an exceptional balance of properties such as extreme toughness, abrasion resistance, and mar resistance. It was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic, and wood.

HD-2107 was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic and wood.

Application Method & Drying

HD-2107 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. Rheology modifications can be made with associative thickeners for alternative application methods.

Drying

HD-2107 can be air dried, if desired, depending on film thickness. Typical drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
