NINOL 96-SL is practically non-toxic orally (LD₅₀ >5 g/kg) at 25% concentration. The product causes moderate eye at 1% solution and severe skin irritation at 0.5% concentration.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling
  • Normal safety precautions (i.e., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling NINOL 96-SL. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling material.
  • It is recommended that NINOL 96-SL be stored in sealed containers and kept at temperatures not exceeding 120°F (49°C). As with all amides, if overheating does occur, amide ester will be formed. To reverse the reaction, NINOL 96-SL should be stored at room temperature for approximately one week.
