MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® POM 770/1.1 CF20 is a Polyoxymethylene Copolymer with 20% carbon fibers that offers electrically conductivity, reduced surface resistivity and high stiffness. It is commonly used for functional components and bearings in automotive, machinery, and other industries. For pre-drying, the material should be placed in a dry air (dessiccant) dryer at 100-110°C for 2-3 hours, or in an air circulating dryer at 100-110°C for 3-5 hours, with a maximum moisture content of less than 0.02%. The melt temperature for injection molding is 190-230°C and the mold temperature is 60-120°C.
